Stivers Ford Montgomery is the premier Ford dealership near Auburn, and we’re thrilled to announce that you can now test-drive the 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor at our location. Many of the questions we get about the Raptor have to do with how it differs from the standard model. In terms of the creature comforts and technologies, it’s equipped like the Lariat. It also has all of the features that you get with the Tremor, including standard four-wheel drive, an off-road-tuned suspension, a locking rear differential, and selectable terrain-based driving modes.
There are Raptor-specific features as well, including special 17-inch aluminum wheels, a 36-gallon fuel tank, Raptor-specific off-road suspension tuning, adaptive Fox shock absorbers, a Raptor-specific grille, Raptor-specific fender flares, and six upfitter switches. You have the choice of either the standard Raptor or the Raptor R, and there are two primary differences. The Raptor R has 37-inch tires as opposed to 35 inches. It also has a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine that makes 700 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque whereas the standard model has a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6: 450 hp and 510 lb.-ft.
