There are eight 2024 Ford Explorer trim levels available to our customers at Stivers Ford Montgomery. The Timberline is positioned in the middle of the lineup and is configured for drivers who’ll use their Ford Explorer off-road. This is the only trim to come with an all-wheel drive standard, and it is powered by the 300-horsepower turbocharged engine. Mechanical enhancements include off-road suspension tuning, additional ground clearance, 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, a limited-slip differential, underbody skid plates, and trailering equipment.
The Timberline also has trim-exclusive exterior and interior appearance packages. Otherwise, it comes with the XLT’s equipment plus the safety features of the ST-Line. That includes roof rails, keyless entry, push-button start, heated front seats, second-row captain’s chairs, FordPass connected services, an 8-inch touch screen, LED headlamps, and a power liftgate. The advanced assists include auto high-beam headlamps, a 360-degree camera, trailer sway damping, rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure mitigation, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and evasive steering assist.
