2024 Ford Mustang Trim Levels

The Mustang is one of the most iconic muscle cars ever made, and Stivers Ford Montgomery customers now have the option of the 2024 Ford Mustang at our Ford dealership serving Montgomery Pike Road Prattville Hoover Auburn and the surrounding areas. This is a big year for the Mustang as it ushers in the seventh Mustang generation. There are three core 2024 Ford Mustang trim levels: EcoBoost, GT and Dark Horse. All of those are available in a Premium variant as well. The main difference is the engine. The EcoBoost has a turbo four. The GT has a V8. The Dark Horse has an even beefier V8.

EcoBoost Trim

All 2024 Ford Mustang trim levels near Hoover at Stivers Ford Montgomery have a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive configuration and a rear limited-slip differential. The EcoBoost is offered exclusively with a 10-speed automatic transmission, which Ford pairs with a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine. It makes 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, which is an improvement over last generation and the most standard power Ford has ever offered with the Mustang. All models now come standard with a 12.4-inch driver instrument panel and a 13.2-inch Sync 4 infotainment touch screen. You also get 17-inch aluminum wheels, keyless entry, push-button start, onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, remote vehicle monitoring and control and the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite advanced driver-assistance technologies.

EcoBoost Premium Trim

The second of the 2024 Ford Mustang trim levels is the Premium variant of the EcoBoost. It’s the same in terms of performance but adds 18-inch wheels, heated mirrors, upgraded cabin materials, leather-and-cloth seating, dual-zone automatic climate control, front seats that are heated, ventilated and power adjustable, a nine-speaker audio system and ambient cabin lighting.

GT Trim

The GT is the first of the 2024 Ford Mustang trim levels to feature a V8 engine. It makes 480 hp and 415 lb.-ft., which is an improvement over last generation as well. An optional performance exhaust system increases output to 480 hp and 415 lb.-ft. A six-speed manual transmission with automatic rev matching on downshifts is standard. The 10-speed automatic is optional. The GT is otherwise equipment like the EcoBoost with one notable difference in that it gets power-adjustable front seats.
