The Mustang Mach-E is one of our most popular vehicles, and many of the questions we get about it have to do with charging. All Mustang Mach-E models support Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 charging. Level 1 refers to a 120-volt connection. Level 2 refers to a 240-volt connection, and Level 3 refers to a DC connection.
Level 1 is the slowest and not intended for regular use. It’s supported so that you have that option should no others be available. Expect about 3 to 4 miles of range per hour. Most Mustang Mach-E owners will want to have a Level 2 charger at home, which allows charging to full in three to six hours depending on the charger. Level 3 charging is available at DC fast-charging stations, and Level 3 allows you to charge up to 80% capacity in under 30 minutes.
